A manhunt in bushland north of Bendigo has seen police nab two people they believe were involved in a series of burglaries and thefts in the region.
Investigators from Goornong, with the assistance of Bendigo Police, arrested a man and woman in Huntly earlier today.
The woman, aged in her 20s, was arrested just before 10am. A man in his 40s who fled from police was tracked down an hour later.
Both remain in custody and are assisting police with enquiries into thefts and burglaries in both Goornong and Huntly.
The police air wing was also involved in this morning’s manhunt, helping investigators locate the wanted pair.
Three motor vehicles have also been seized as part of the investigation.
