Nathan Hamblin has been appointed coach of the Hawks’ youth team for the 2018 season.
Hamblin is a former BASL youth best and fairest winner and has been an integral member of four FC Eaglehawk men’s senior championships.
“I’m really looking forward to the opportunity to coach our next crop of talented players,” Hamblin said this week.

“It’s an exciting time at the club and I can’t wait to get the group out onto the pitch.”
Added Hawks’ president Shane Eleveld: “Nathan embodies everything we want in a player and coach and will be an incredible role model for our younger generation of players.”
FC Eaglehawk will hold its first training session at 5.30pm next Thurdsay at Truscott Reserve for under-16s and youth.

Meanwhile, the club will hold its junior registration night on Friday.
The registration night will be held at Truscott Reserve from 5pm.
The registration night coincides with the Hawks’ announcement of Brent A Monro Floor Sanding committing as their major junior sponsor for the next three years.
