A man has died following a stabbing in Bendigo this afternoon.
Homicide Squad detectives are in Bendigo investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
Emergency services were called to an address on King Street about 12.30pm.
The man was located outside the address with serious life-threatening injuries.
The man who is yet to be formally identified was taken to hospital where he died a short time later.

King Street remains closed as an increased police presence swarms on the area.
An intensive land and air search is underway over central Bendigo, after a man was stabbed earlier this afternoon.
He remains in a critical condition.

The Victoria Police canine unit and air wing are on scene in Bendigo.
Police are searching the area in the vicinity of King Street and along the railway line behind the address.
The search comes as a man continues to fight for his life after being stabbed in Bendigo this afternoon.

More detectives have arrived at the scene.

Police said a man in his 30s was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition.
