Hayes began the year in fine style as she won the 3000m duel in a time of 9:49.13.
The South Bendigo Athletics Club star broke many records across several distances in 2017.
Teleah’s younger sister, Yazmin was fourth overall in 10:36.95 as 11 athletes competed at the Latrobe University Bendigo athletics complex in Flora Hill.
Runner-up in the 12th leg of the sries was Alex Van Ruiswyk, 10:24.52, ahead of University athlete and Flack Advisory Bendigo Region general manager Craig Green, 10:33.20.
All four AB clubs were represented.

Meanwhile, Athletics Bendigo’s track and field season resumes this Saturday, subject to the heat policy, at LUBAC in Retreat Road from 1.30pm.
Program one will be run as athletes contest the 10th round in the AV Shield season.
Events include 100m , 200m, 800m, 1500m or 3000m walk, distance hurdles, 4 x 200m relays, hammer throw, high jump, shot put, triple jump, discus, and pole vault
