The Bloods have signed classy midfielder Angus Munro and defender Blake Schneider from AFL Queensland club Palm Beach Currumbin.
Munro has been one of the premier midfielders in the AFLQ competition for several years and he has premiership experience.
"They're both very good players and they're going to help us out a fair bit,'' Elmore coach Danny Brewster said.
"Angus has played in a couple of premierships in Queensland and he was captain of one of them. He played in the AFL Queensland representative squad that I played in at the national country championships in Wagga a few years ago.
"He has plenty of good footy behind him and he'll help us in a number of spots."
Brewster said Munro's kicking skills would make him a valuable inclusion to the Bloods' line-up.
"He's very clean with the ball, so we'll look to use him in a few different roles,'' Brewster said.
"We'll want to get the ball in his hands to deliver it to our forwards."
Schneider will slot into an Elmore back six that was one of the most inexperience groups in the HDFNL in 2017.
"He's been playing consistent footy in a quality league,'' Brewster said of Schneider.
"He's just one of those hard-nosed defenders that will provide us with some experience down back."
Brewster said the Bloods were "close" to announcing more recruits for 2018.
Mac Whittle (Huntly) and Travis Mills (Queensland) are the only departures from Elmore's senior group.
The Bloods, who only won three games in 2017, have been training for the past six weeks.
"The harvest takes a fair toll on numbers, but overall we're happy with the way training has gone,'' Brewster said.
"We've had a real focus on getting our fitness up to the levels of Colbinabbin and Leitchville-Gunbower.
"The boys have ackowledged that and they've responded to the challenge really well.
"When we start up again in January we should have a really good fitness base to build on."
Elmore starts its 2018 campaign away to Colbinabbin under lights on Saturday, April 7.
