The centre of the town came alive with Christmas carols, market stalls, food vendors and gift shopping.
A partnership between the Loddon Visitor Information Centre and Wedderburn Community House, the event aims to encourage Wedderburn residents to complete their Christmas shopping locally.
As part of encouraging people to shop locally, the event organisers asked all businesses to support the initiative by extending their opening hours until 8pm.
Loddon shire tourism officer Robyn Vella said there was also an incentive for shops to fit out their windows festively.
“The best window, which will be judged by a panel of non-locals, will win the inaugural Christmas Spirit Cup,” she said.
