EARLIER: An advice alert has been issued for a grass and scrub fire that is heading for the Bridgewater-Serpentine Road.
The alert applies to Bridgewater, Inglewood, Powlett Plains and Salisbury West.
The fire is burning on Reg Ansett Road at Salisbury West, and is travelling in a southeasterly direction towards the Bridgewater-Serpentine Road.
The CFA received the call for the fire shortly before 1pm, and has three trucks on scene and two on the way.
People in the area are advised to monitor weather conditions and warnings, and keep roads clear for emergency services.
