In Saturday’s first semi-final, Abigail Tere-Apisah found herself 4-0 up in a matter of 14 minutes after breaking Rogowska twice.
It only got worse as Rogowska was broken a third time to surrender the first set 6-1 in 24 minutes.
Rogowska was able to break in the third game of the second set much to the delight of the crowd.
It was all back on serve and at 4-4 it was looking like a long match was coming.
Rogowska was able to break serve in the ninth game and held serve to take it into a third set.
A break in the first game of the third set meant Rogowska was never headed, taking 50 minutes to clinch the decider 6-2.
Head to head Rogowska now leads Tere-Apisah 5 nil.
In the other semi-final, fourth seed Zidansek stormed to a 4-0 lead in just 12 minutes before opponent Mai Minokoshi got involved.
However, the first set was a whirl and in 27 minutes Zidansek took the set 6-1.
Games stayed on serve and took it to a tie-breaker where Zidansek’s more powerful groundstrokes saw her come home with the victory 7-6 (5).
