After touring the Bendigo Art Gallery on Wednesday morning, Seymour lunched at Masons of Bendigo and shopped in Bob Boutique, Chancery Lane and Bendigo Wholefoods.
She also played tourist at the Bendigo Visitor Information Centre and Post Office Gallery, and also toured the CBD to admire the city’s heritage buildings.
At the Bendigo Art Gallery on Wednesday, Seymour said she was expecting a small, historic gold rush town..
“I came here thinking I was going to the outback to see a small gold mining town and a few kangaroos,” she said.
“But (Bendigo is) this amazing place with a contemporary gallery. I could be in New York or London or any major metropolis.”
Seymour returned to Melbourne via Heathcote where she stopped at Jasper Hill Winery to sample some local reds.
