Grundy’s match-winning 161 not out last Sunday against Sandhurst was his fifth Bendigo District Cricket Association century.
And it was the fourth of those centuries where he has turned it into a score of more than 150.
Since 2000, only former Kangaroo Flat star batsman Tony Taig has made more scores above 150 in the BDCA.
Of Taig’s 19 centuries, five were scores above 150 – 187, 163, 162, 161, 159 n.o.
Grundy’s tally of scores above 150 includes what remains the BDCA’s last double century when he plundered 201 against Bendigo in round two, 2012-13, for his former club, Huntly-North Epsom.
