GVC scored wins in its round three and four matches at Cranbourne Golf Club on Tuesday and is unbeaten after two days.
The team defeated South Western 6-1 in round three and followed up with a 5.5-1.5 victory against Northern.
Top performers included Tahlia Holmberg, who won her match against South Western 7/6, Kerri Bilkey (3/2 against South Western and on-up against Northern), and Janelle Brown (5/4 against Northern).
Day three rounds are being played at The National Long Island Golf Club.
Meanwhile, GCV’s men’s plate division team had to settle for a tie in its round four match against Murray Darling.
Left hander Steve Rotherham scored a 4/2 win in the top men’s match, while youngster Jackson Guan won 5/4.
Jarrett Miles, Harrison Savage and Kurtis Lynch all finished square.
