Traffic was disrupted on Sunday evening when the vehicle became lodged under the Chapel Street bridge in Kangaroo Flat about 6pm.
Passers-by say police are directing traffic away from the scene.
The bridge bears a sign warning of its 2.8 to 3.4-metre low clearance height.
The Bendigo Advertiser reported a similar incident in July, while trucks have previously run into trouble at Golden Square’s Laurel Street bridge.
