Being a family day ambrose event, juniors were able to hit the fairways alongside a parent or friend for nine holes with the winning pair taking home a golden turkey trophy.
All scores were within five strokes of each other, with the top three placings coming down to a three way count back.
Tom Roberts and Archie Alston collected the win with 36/6/30, ahead of Ted and dad Daniel Spark on 43/13/30, with Dylan and Evan Weston third on 42/12/30.
The Westons grabbed the nearest to pin on the 10th with a birdie after a fantastic drive from Evan, and also on the 12th.
Roberts and Alston were nearest the pin on the 16th.
It was Jazy Roberts’ time to shine taking out the Frank and Louis Burrows perpetual trophy as the leading junior for the season.
After many time being a brides maid, Roberts claimed the trophy with a haul of 66 points.
Last year’s winner Evan Weston was second with 63 points, ahead of Tom Roberts, Dylan Weston and Morten Hafkamp in a three-way tie for third on 53 points.
Ethan Hafkamp was fourth on 50 ahead of Ted Spark (48), Jordan Alston (46), Shanae Aisbett (40), Archie Alston (35), Tyson Aisbett (34), Hugh Bain (20) and Henry Bain (19).
Neangar juniors would like to thank their parents, the sponsors who help with weekly prizes, and coach Jason Roberts.
