Brandi is an award winning and vastly published writer in many forms, including fiction, memoir, opinion and poetry.
At the event Brandi will speak on his path to publication. No bookings are necessary and people are encouraged to bring pens and paper to take notes.
Brandi has won a plethora of awards for his debut novel, Wimmera, which follows two boys in Stawell who are unsettled when a stranger arrives in town.
Prior to writing, Brandi worked as a political advisor and in the Victorian Department of Justice. His work has also appeared in The Guardian, The Age and in numerous literary journals.
Originally from Italy, growing up in a rural Victorian town continues to influence Brandi’s work. He now lives in Melbourne.
The Bendigo Writers Council September meeting is on September 20 at the Bendigo Library from 7pm. Cost is $5.
