Jackson Bowen the best in MCDFNL with Berry Powell Medal win

CARISBROOK ruckman Jackson Bowen polled 24 votes on Monday night to win the Maryborough-Castlemaine District Football-Netball League’s Berry Powell Medal.

Bowen finished five votes ahead of joint runners-up, Harcourt coach Paul Chaplin and Royal Park’s Stefan Pye, each with 19.

Meanwhile, the winner of the Nalder Tracey Trophy for the A grade netball was Dunolly’s Ash Lierich with 28 votes.

Meanwhile, MCDFNL grand final day will be held this Saturday at Maryborough’s Princes Park.
