Teams competed across eight divisions during the one-day tournament, with every side playing at least four matches for the day leading into the finals.
In the open boys competition grand final, Rowville defeated Murtoa two sets to one in an entertaining match.
In the 15 boys honours division final, Vic Blue defeated Vic West 26-16, 25-19.
In the 17 girls honours, the Vic Uni Vultures defeated Crusoe 25-12, 25-17. The open girls final saw Vic White defeat Vic West 25-18, 26-24.
MacRobertsons College defeated Northern Volleyball in straight sets in the 17 girls division one final.
Maribyrnong was successful two sets to none in its grand final win over Riddells Creek in the newly created mixed junior competition.
Vic White defeated Rowville in a tightly contested 15 girls honours division grand final, 17-25, 25-13, 15-8.
Rowville prevailed in straight sets over Northern to win the 15 girls division one crown.
“The day was a huge success, with many Junior Volleyballers enjoying a full day of matches and developing their skills,’’ tournament director Geoff Adcock said.
The Bendigo Volleyball Association will now focus on the Senior Dragon City Volleyball event, scheduled to be held on the weekend of November 4-5.
