The Storm enter round 15 two wins and considerable percentage behind fifth-placed Eaglehawk.
With three rounds still to be played, a loss against the Roos, or an expected Eaglehawk win over ninth-placed Kyneton would effectively shut the gate on the Storm’s finals hopes.
The Storm have been playing some of their best netball of late, including back-to-back win overs Maryborough and Castlemaine, and will be keen to finish the season off on a high-note.
Kangaroo Flat presents a tough challenge for the Storm, after recovering from a mid-season slump to snatch fourth spot from Eaglehawk, with four wins in their last five games.
Golden Square will be without midcourters Kelly and Andrea Wilson, who have respective basketball and Bendigo Thunder football commitments, for the Bulldogs clash against South Bendigo.
In other games, top side Sandhurst makes the trip to Maryborough, and Castlemaine hosts second-placed Gisborne.
