Megan McPhail parked her white Toyota Camry outside her workplace in Sandhurst Road and sometime between 2.30pm and 3pm, the front of the car was significantly damaged.
Ms McPhail said at first she was angry.
“I was also disappointed that someone would do that and drive off,” she said.
She is now hoping that someone will come forward with information.
Constable Kelly Brereton from Bendigo police said the bonnet of the car was pushed in and had tear marks, and its lights were smashed.
“We’re hoping that someone has seen something,” she said.
“It’s a busy road.”
Constable Brereton said someone heard a loud bang and a vehicle take off quickly. Blue paint was also found on the car.
Anyone with information or witnesses to the crash should contact Constable Kelly Brereton at the Bendigo police station on 5448 1300.
