The A-grade women’s match between Senjuns and Eaglehawk was postponed early in the second half after a hail storm stopped play and made the sand pitch unplayable.
Senjuns held a 2-1 lead when play was stopped.
Two A-grade men matches were completed, with Sandhurst impressive in its 4-2 defeat of Senjuns, while Loddon Murray proved too strong for the young Strathdale Tigers side.

In B-grade men, Senjuns handled the heavy conditions well to defeat Eaglehawk 3-0. Better players for Eaglehawk were Joe Starcevic, Shaun Rosaia and Harry Andrew.
The B-grade women’s games were closely contested.
Senjuns held off Eaglehawk 2-1, Strathdale defeated Loddon Murray 3-2 in a five-goal thriller, while Sandhurst proved too good for a gallant Maryborough 3-1. Sandhurst tops the ladder ahead of Senjuns and Maryborough.
Goals were the order of the day in under-17 hockey. Sandhurst outlasted Senjuns 5-4, while Eaglehawk defeated Girton 6-5 in an entertaining encounter.
Michael Keating, Jennifer Andrews and Hailey Evans were best for the Borough, while Nathan Davis scored a hat-trick of goals.
In the under-15s, Sandhurst thumped Strath Tigers 9-0, Eaglehawk proved too good for Girton 3-1 and Senjuns drew with Strath Roar.
There was an upset in the under-11 junior division, with Sandhurst inflicting Eaglehawk’s first loss of the season.
