The Chef’s Toolbox manager Cindy Portwine and group leader Deb Groves hosted one of the demonstrations on Saturday morning.
Popular meat expert Bob the Butcher also demonstrated how to break down a whole carcass into primary, secondary and restaurant cuts.
“Lamb is one of my favourite meats to cook with. I grew up with lamb and just love it,” Ms Portwine said.
“You can do all sorts of stuff with it and there are so many different cuts to use. The idea not to overcook, a bit pink in the middle is best way to have your lamb.”
Ms Portwine said it was the first time the 14-year-old, Australian-owned company had taken part in the Festival of Lamb.
“It is our first time demonstrating here but we have visited before and seen what it is all about,” she said.
“We wanted to demonstrate our products, have some fun and show what the company is all about.”
