Playing at MacPherson Park Recreation Reserve in Melton, the Dragons fell 22-18 to the Western Crusaders.
It followed losses in their home opener against the Northern Raiders and last week to the Melton Wolves.
The Dragons led 10-8 at half time and held an 18-14 advantage early in the final quarter following a touchdown and conversion from Harrison Luke.
But a touchdown and conversion in the fourth delivered a third straight win to the Crusaders, who head the league ladder.
The Dragons return to the Tom Flood Sports Centre this Saturday against CCU.
