SUNDAY A teenager has been transported to Bendigo hospital following a collision during a football game in Castlemaine on Sunday afternoon.
The boy, who lost consciousness for a short time after the incident, was stabilised by paramedics at the scene.
An air ambulance landed on the Campbells Creek football oval, but paramedics deemed it appropriate to transport the boy via road, according to Ambulance Victoria spokesman John Mullen.
Three ambulances attended the scene after 5pm on Sunday.
The teenager was in a stable condition when he was transported, Mr Mullen said.
