Daniel Clohesy, Noah Wheeler, Jack Bouwmeester and Kobe Lloyd will all play their first under-18 games for the Pioneers.
Wheeler will line up for the Pioneers having earlier in the season while boarding at Ballarat’s St Patricks College played for the Greater Western Victoria Rebels against Bendigo.
Wheeler – a former Pioneers’ under-15 and 16 player – has returned to Bendigo to take up an apprenticeship and is back on the club’s list.
“Noah was one of the Pioneers captains when he was playing under-15s and under-16s and we’re rapt to have him back,” Bendigo coach Rick Coburn said.
The Pioneers have won two of their past three games to be sitting eighth with a 3-5 record, while the Stingrays – who haven’t lost to Bendigo since 2009 – are sixth at 4-4.
