BENDIGO central umpire Gavin Carter will reach his 300 senior game milestone when he officiates Saturday’s BFNL match between South Bendigo and Kyneton at Harry Trott Oval.

Carter umpired his first game in 1993, with his tally of senior matches taking in the Bendigo, Loddon Valley and North Central leagues.
He was last year awarded life membership of the Bendigo Umpires Association for his involvement.
While Saturday will be his 300th senior match, in total Carter has umpired more than 560 in his career.
