Bride: Naomi Hunt
Groom: Ben Roberts
Wedding date: Saturday, October 15, 2016
The meeting: There are two versions of the story:
1. Naomi was changing a car tyre and Ben offered his help; and
2. Internet dating site RSVP.
The proposal: Ben proposed at Bellinzona Grange in Hepburn Springs, on a sunny Saturday afternoon in April 2016 after nine years of dating, three interstate moves and two children.
The wedding day: Our Wedding was held at Rosalind Park with 120 guests from all over Australia. The flowers were Australian Natives and the wedding theme was clean modern. Our large bridal party including our two daughters Penelope and Alison Roberts. Best Man was Murray Polkinghorne, a neighbouring farm friend of the groom and my sister Talia Prior as Matron of Honour. My bridesmaids were Angela Theobald, Lisa Roberts and Kate Fleming. Groomsmen, all grooms brothers Michael, Jonathan and Sam Roberts. Flower girl Meagan Roberts and Page Boy Hamish Prior.
The dress: A sweetheart, strapless, lace mermaid gown carefully chosen by myself and my mother Robyn Hunt at Melbourne's Raffaele Ciuca Bridal. Champagne underlay with Ivory lace.
The cake: We had a two tier chocolate mud cake with crushed Arnotts mint slice biscuits (Ben's career at Arnotts biscuits was over 10 years).
Photography: Jodie Donnellan was our photographer and we also had a video made by Owen Davies Photography.
Honeymoon destination: Honeymoon Palm cove Queensland for six nights.
