Tyack – a 1996 Bendigo Football-Netball League Hall of Fame inductee – is a former senior coach of the Bloods, four-time premiership player with the club and three-time South Bendigo best and fairest.
“It’s hard to argue that there isn’t anyone better credentialed for the role,” South Bendigo Junior Football Club president Gareth Tawton said this week.
“The club is looking forward to him imparting his vast knowledge on not just South’s players, but also the entire coaching group.”
As well as the director of coaching role, Tyack will also coach the Bloods’ under-16 senior team.
The Bloods will hold a junior clinic for players in their under-9 to 12 age groups, as well as a junior netball clinic, at the Queen Elizabeth Oval this Sunday.
A BBQ will also be held for the Bloods’ under-14 and 16 footballers.
