Since the start of the month, students have watched with interest as nine of the school’s male staff members started growing moustaches.
On Friday, they had an opportunity to get into the Movember mood themselves.
Those who were unable to grow their own got crafty with their facial fluff, creating or painting on a mo.
A gold coin donation earned students the privilege of wearing a mo to school, and raised $370 for Movember.
The staff effort had already raised more than $1000.
It was the first time the school had been involved in the cause, but teacher Cameron Ladd said it had been worth it.
“It’s a good talking point,” Mr Ladd said.
“A lot of the kids have asked, ‘What are you doing that for?’”
The month-long Movember campaign aims to raise awareness of men’s health and has funded more than 1200 men’s health projects in 13 years.
