The performance marks the 20th anniversary of the choir’s Christmas concert.
Joining the choir will be the City of Greater Bendigo Brass Band led by musical director Cally Bartlett.
Choir member Vern Wall said there would be a range of songs including the First Noel, You Raise Me Up, Do You Hear What I Hear and the Vicar of Dibley version of The Lord is My Shepherd.
“We are putting on a program, chosen from the best items we have sung in the last 20 years,” he said.
“It has been a tricky process picking one but we have enjoyed doing it. It is quite a varied program.
‘We have been rehearsing for about three months now and can’t wait to be joined by an excellent brass band led by Cally Bartlett.”
The Weeroona Uniting Church Choir and the City of Greater Bendigo Brass Band perform at the Uniting Church in Neale Street on December 11. Entry is $8.
