The charges relate to an incident in April where police allege a man waved a knife at a woman’s face during a break-in at the woman’s house.
In the second burglary in September, a man is believed to have broken into a Flora Hill home before fleeing empty handed when he was confronted by the homeowner.
Police arrested the 28-year-old at his Flora Hill home yesterday morning, after an investigation connected the two burglaries.
The man will face charges of armed robbery, two counts of aggravated burglary, common law assault and two other unrelated theft matters.
He was remanded in police custody yesterday and will appear at a committal mention on January 23.
