The Complimentary Caravan is a custom-built caravan in which people can sit and listen to compliments given by real people.
Artist Rose Turtle Ertler sourced the compliments from within the local community, asking people to think of something they wanted to say to a friend.
“You can hear the sincerity in their voices,” Ms Ertler said.
People are also invited to write their own admiring words to a loved one to be stuck to the caravan.
“A few simple, nice words can have a good effect,” Ms Ertler said.
The Complimentary Caravan will be in Hargreaves Mall on Saturday, October 15 from 10.30am to 2.30pm.
