The Harvest Moon festival is a very important celebration for the Chinese people no matter where they live in the world as it marks the time of the year when people return home to be with family and friends after the end of harvest season. It celebrates the reunion of family and friends, gives thanks for a plentiful harvest and hopes for prosperity and a good future.
The Harvest Moon Festival is on at the Dai Gum San Chinese Precinct from 2pm on Saturday, September 10.
