Bendigo band Black Aces will fly out in September for a tour of England and Europe.
The tour includes 40 gigs in 11 countries over a two month period.
One gig the band is particularly excited for is its slot on the bill of Welsh rock and metal festival Hard Rock Hell along side Deep Purple’s Glenn Hughes, Living Colour and Ugly Kid Joe.
As a farewell the band will play a tour fundraiser gig at the Golden Vine on August 12.
Black Aces released their debut album, Shot in the Dark, at the start of the year and have played with the likes of Cosmic Psychos, Dallas Crane and The Casanovas.
Shot in the Dark reached 17 on the iTunes Rock chart and 90 on the overall album charts.
The independent band has worked hard since forming five years ago to establish themselves in many live music scenes.
Black Aces play the Golden Vine Hotel in Bendigo Friday, August 12, from 9pm. Tickets are $10.
Local blues act TJ & Son will be the support act.
