The hearing will discuss whether the proposed installation of the machines requires a planning permit.
The City of Greater Bendigo is against the proposed installation, adopting a policy that states it is opposed to more machines in the municipality.
The initial hearing in July sat for four days and heard two appeals concurrently.
The council contested the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation's approval of 30 new licences at the stadium and the Bendigo Stadium appealed against the council’s refusal to approve a planning permit for the machines.
