The organisers of this weekend’s Bendigo Craft Alive Expo have asked Bendigo to donate fabric blocks to be stitched into quilts and auctioned off for charity.
CraftAlive’s Tess Gutknecht said the project was part of Quilts of Hope, an initiative that supports children living with cancer and other life threatening blood disorders.
“We’re calling on craft enthusiasts of all ages and skill level in the Bendigo community to bring some local artistic flair.”
She said people could also donate during the Craft Alive Expo.
