Competitors from as far afield as Mildura, Kyneton, Boort, Echuca, St Arnaud, Bendigo and many places in between competed at the La Trobe University Bendigo athletics complex in Flora Hill.
A big program included hurdles, sprints, throws and jumps from 12-13 age group up to 18-20 class.
A place in the School Sport Victoria state championships to be run on October 23 at Melbourne’s Albert Park track was up for grabs.
For many students, a personal best and the honour of representing their school was the highlight of yesterday’s meet.
