Real estate agencies made 67 donations over three months, with DCK leading the charge.
Bendigo’s banks came in second, with 37 donations, closely followed by accountancy and law firms. Bendigo Donor Centre community relations officer Shae Smith said 15 businesses took part in this year’s challenge.
“The need for blood continues to increase in Australia,” she said.
“One in three Australians will need blood during their lifetime, yet only one in 30 donates. The ongoing support from Bendigo businesses plays a vital role in helping collect the many blood donations patients require.”
