The twins turn 90 today but celebrated a day early yesterday with family and friends at The Foundry in Golden Square.
“I’m still a bit staggered by it – that I’m 90,” Wally said.
The retired farmer put his ripe age down to “hard work and plain living”.
Wally said it felt great to be alive. “It’s good to be 90,” he said.
Both Stan and Wally served in World War II and spent their working lives as farmers.
