Born on June 9, 1993, to parents Simone and Rodney and baby sister to Trent.
We watched you grow from a baby to a beautiful young lady.
In your childhood years you had many interests including dancing, karate and riding motorbikes, and as you reached your teens you became interested in cars – following in your brother’s footsteps.
Kirra attended Bendigo Preschool, Specimen Hill Primary School and Golden Square High School before changing to Eaglehawk High School for year 10, where she continued to make many more great friends.
After Kirra completed year 10 she went on to complete VCE at Bendigo Senior.
While Kirra completed her VCE she decided that childcare was what she wanted to do as a career.
Her love of children was obvious to everyone.
Kirra had enrolled herself into BRIT to study for a Diploma of Children’s Services to become an educator and fulfil her dreams.
As Kirra went from being a teen to a mature young lady, it was evident that her family and friends meant the world to her.
Before Kirra started studying for her diploma, she met the love of her life, Matt.
Matt shared the same interests in cars and bikes.
As Matt was from Melbourne, the two of them spent many weekends together among the car scene and cruises.
Kirra had bought her first car, a customised mini-truck that was her pride and joy, and Matt seemed to think it was pretty good, too.
Kirra sold the vehicle to buy her little Holden Astra SRI.
Kirra and Matt had a dream of buying the mini-truck back and turning it into a show-stopper.
Matt and Kirra’s relationship had progressed and they were looking for a house to move into together.
Kirra was always full of life and would do anything she could to help.
Her personality was bright, bubbly, caring and loving.
She will be sadly missed by all whose lives she touched.
RIP Kirra Rose Sim. You will be forever in our hearts.
Gone but not forgotten.
Love always, your family.
