BENDIGO CFA's George Flack starred in the cross-country and track racing at the Victoria Police and Emergency Services Games in Melbourne.

A long-time athlete, Flack won silver in the men's 60-64 years division of the 5km cross-country run at Norton Park in Wantirna South.
In track events at Town Park in Croydon, Flack won the 100m, 200m, 400m and 800m, and silver in the 1500m and 5000m.
Flack regularly competes with Bendigo Athletic Club and Eaglehawk Athletic Club.
Others from the Bendigo area to compete at the Games were Ambulance Victoria's Brendan Ryan and Vic Police's Eric Baker.
The Bendigo trio have have put forward a proposal to run the 2016 Games at Latrobe University Bendigo athletics complex in Bendigo.
