Strategem's Community Foundation has signed on to support the new theatre in a long-term partnership
Strategem chief executive David Richardson said the team was "absolutely thrilled" to be able to support the "extraordinary" project.
"We were privileged to go on a tour of the Ulumbarra Theatre construction site several months ago and were amazed by the versatility of the spaces," he said.
"The Ulumbarra Theatre is a shining example of civic leadership with the City of Greater Bendigo and Bendigo Senior Secondary College combining efforts to leverage state and federal funding for a significant outcome."
City of Greater Bendigo city futures director Stan Liacos said the council was grateful to Strategem.
"The city is delighted that an organisation of the calibre of Strategem has seen the benefit of this new facility and acknowledged through this support, all that it will bring to the city and in particular to the development of our young people through Bendigo Senior Secondary College," he said.
The Bendigo and Adelaide Bank has also signed on as a major sponsor of Ulumbarra Theatre. You can read about it here.
