An action-packed program begins with the grades four-and-under girls' mini mile at 11am.
The grade four-and-under boys mini mile starts at 11.20am.
Other events to be run are grades 5-6, years 7-8, and years 9-10.
The main event starts at 12.40pm and includes men's and women's open, years 11-12, and veterans 40-plus.
12.50pm: Bendigo University's Andy Buchanan wins Bendigo Bank Dragon Mile. Brilliant sprint finish.
Box Hiill's Melissa Duncan wins women's open for the fourth year in a row. What a feat.
12.35pm: Hugh Schaeche from BSE wins years 9-10 boys mile in 5.01.
Creek Street's Ben Powell runner-up in 5.04.
Weeroona College's Jake Hilson third in 5.13.
Years 9-10 girls mile won by Ballarat's Katherine Dowie from Clarendon College in 5.30.
Kate Salvador from BSE the runner-up.
Weeroona College's Maddison Hooke in final place.
Grand finale - open, years 11-12, and veterans to start in about five minutes. Great field assembled for this 1609m showdown before thousands awaiting the start of the gala parade.
12.13pm: The Hayes sister from Rochester Secondary College, Zahra and Yazmin first and third in the years 7-8 girls mile.
Bridie Blake-Burrows from Bendigo South East SC was runner-up.
Years 7-8 mile won by Cameron Anderson from Bendigo South ahead of Catholic College Bendigo's Jesse Matthews and BSE's Declan Osborne.
Years 9-10 race up next.
11.57am: Years 7-8 boys and girls off and racing.
11.50am: The Buckell twins, Ned and Matt from Kennington Primary School first and second in grades 5-6 boys mile. Ned's time was 5.42.
Harvey Gallagher from St Therese's was third.
Tullie Rowe from Golden Square wins grade 5-6 girls race and is fifth overall.
Bethany Dean from Christian College Geelong is runner-up as Audrey Savage from St Brenda Flemington races to third place.
11.25am: Spring Gully's Harrison Boyd wins grades four and boys mini mile, 800m.
Logan Hromenko from Huntly Primary School the runner-up.
Jett Grundy from St Francis of the Fields third in another great race.
Grades 5-6 boys and girls up next.
11.10am: Harcourt's Megan Wilson wins grades four and under girls mini mile.
Runner-up was Lockwood's Eloise McGregor.
Kennington's Skylar Woodward in third place.
