The live radio broadcast - Real People ASD -was the brainchild of local mother-of-two and Phoenix FM radio presenter Beck Kelly.
The weekly segment will begin on September 8 and cover every aspect of the autism spectrum, featuring live interviews and guest speakers.
Phoenix FM board member Geoff Morris, published ASD author Lyndal Kennedy and Kerang motivational speaker Michael Whatham spoke at the event, which was hosted by Eaglehawk's The Star Cinema.
An autism spectrum disorder family-friendly screening of Dr Seuss' The Lorax accompanied the launch.
