UPDATE 11.30am SUNDAY: The white VT Commodore involved in a car fire in Ironbark on Saturday was also involved in a crash on Friday night, police say.

Detective Senior Constable Jason Smith said police were called to the car crash in Eaglehawk Road at 6.30pm on Friday, where the unregistered Commodore had hit a pole.
The driver had left the scene by the time police arrived, Senior Detective Smith said.
The following day, the car was found on fire about 5.30pm on the corner of Little Lane and Susan Street in Ironbark.

UPDATE 8.15PM: Police are searching for the owner of a white VT Commodore found on fire at Ironbark just before 5.30pm on Saturday.
The car was unregistered.
Bendigo CIU are continuing investigations into the cause of the fire.
UPDATE 5.55PM: Fire crews wore protective masks to extinguish the car, on Susan Street, just off Eaglehawk Road.
There is an LPG bottle in the boot of the VT Commodore.
The fire is now under control, having briefly threatened adjoining houses.
Police are interviewing witnesses at the scene. The car was unoccupied at the time of the fire.
EARLIER: Two CFA units are responding to a car fire at Eaglehawk Road, Ironbark.
The car is down an alley between houses.
