ALLAN'S Walk became a laneway bursting with colour and creativity on Friday night.
Janine Coffey turned the laneway into an updated and practical space with her Laneways Unleashed project.
Bendigo photographer Kate Monotti used the event to collaborate with other Bendigo creative types including Megan Tannahill, of clothing brand James and Hill, and Cath Robertson of Byfoxsake.
Ms Monotti said it was great to be involved in an event showcasing products designed and made in Bendigo.
"People are becoming more conscientous about what they buy," she said.
"People see products but never think about who may be behind them."
Pho sizzle designer and owner Jacqueline Stewart brought her clothes from Fitzroy.
"Pop-up events bring vibrancy to cities," she said.
"They can bring money into space that are dying, too."
The walk is open on Saturday from 10am to 5pm.
