Ms Milne will then visit Mount Alexander Fruit Gardens to look at their fruit farm and "hear about their farming enterprise and adaptation to climate change".
She will also attend a dinner at St Paul's church hall in Myers Street for the start of Fair Food Week.
Greens candidate for Bendigo East Jen Alden said having her party's federal leader visit would be a boost to local campaigns.
"Christine's visit at the start of Fair Food Week will draw regional attention to the importance of the Greens approach to supporting farmers and land managers who invest in sustainable farming systems to look after the land," she said.
"It will highlight opportunities in Central Victoria to invest to better prepare our communities for the impacts of climate change."
