Members will be taking riders on a guided tour of the course between 10am and midday at Cavagnas Road in Sedgwick.
Club members will take riders in a small group on a lap of the circuit, giving out tips and advice along the way.
The Bendigo Cycles 3/6 hour will be held on September 14 and is expected to attract more than 300 riders from across Victoria and interstate.
Committee member Joel Rockes said Bendigo's top riders will compete in the race, including Chris Hamilton, Isaac Buckell and Tasman and Russell Nankervis.
"Our event attracts more and more recreational mountain bikers each year that enjoy a challenge and a fun day out with their friends and family," he said.
"Our aim has always been to host a professional event for elite and skilled riders, but we are also focussed on attracting more everyday riders to the sport."
The come and try day will cost $5 for non MTBA members.
