THE Emu Creek Cricket Club has announced Daniel Chamberlain has been re-appointed as the playing coach for the 2015-2015 Emu Valley Cricket Association season.

"The aim is to keep our division one side in the finals and then add to the depth of our division two side," Chamberlain said.

"We are in a great position with the best training facilities in the league.

"It's also exciting to have several new recruits to add to the core of quality players currently at the club."

Chamberlain will be joined by Anthony Collins and Simon Marwood.

Collins won the league bowling award in 2013-2014 season while Marwood also won the EVCA league champion player after having an excellent season with the bat and the ball.

Club president Greg Strawbridge said he was excited about this season's prospects.

"I think Daniel, Anthony and Simon will help deliver continued success in the upcoming season," he said.

Emu Creek will host its first training session on August 31 at its  home ground on Uxbridge Street in Strathfieldsaye.

New and existing players are encouraged to attend the session.
