The Thunder have endured one of the toughest seasons any football club has gone through, with a 0-10 record and average losing margin of 191 points.
“A spirited training session on Wednesday night left me with no doubt that the girls are keen to grasp this last opportunity for the year to demonstrate the level of improvement they have made,” coach Russell Jeffrey said.
“We’re a far more defensive unit now compared to the rest of the season, and individuals have improved in terms of their basic skills.
“Take the scoreboard out of it, we believe that with the right recruiting during the off-season, we can continue to develop as a premier league team.”
Saturday’s round 14 game at Kangaroo Flat’s Dower Park starts at 2pm.
