Jamie Benbow pleaded guilty in Bendigo Magistrates Court today to trafficking a drug of dependence, drug driving, driving while disqualified, and one count each of possessing cannabis and magic mushrooms.
The court was told Benbow was found with 14 grams of ecstasy, more than four times the amount required for a trafficking charge.
It heard Benbow had been convicted of trafficking amphetamines and possessing explosives in March this year and was fined $2000.
Today, Benbow was jailed for three months for trafficking, fined $500 for the two drug possession charges and disqualified from driving for a year.
Benbow was also given an 18-month community corrections order to begin at the end of the jail sentence, requiring 250 hours of unpaid work.
He will appeal the sentence.
