Everyone accepts Ms Poole breached her duty of care to her daughter Bella on that fateful day but clearly she is not a child killer.
Intent was always at the heart of this case - the only thing that could substantiate criminal negligence.
Had Jayde Poole left her daughter in the car to play pokies or go shopping, the outcome would have been justly different.
She would have taken such action with full knowledge of the dangers and consequences.
Jayde Poole made no deliberate decision to leave Bella in that car but instead made a terrible error that she has most likely replayed thousands of times in her mind since.
She will live with that error for the rest of her life.
Her parents, who have lovingly supported their daughter through the most harrowing of times, will also be forced to live with 'what ifs' for the rest of their lives given the fact that on their way to dinner that night they walked past Bella's room and the car she was strapped in.
This family has suffered greatly.
They will now try to get on with their lives the best they can.
We wish them well.
